Head up into the cooler mountains for a day of dramatic views and local island life. After visiting the famous Tegallalang Rice Terraces and the sacred springs at Tirta Empul, we’ll stop at a local spice and coffee plantation to sip fresh Balinese coffee while enjoying the quiet garden surroundings.
The main highlight of the day is Kintamani, where you can sit back and take in the massive, sweeping view of Mount Batur and its crater lake. On the way down, we’ll stroll through Penglipuran, a peaceful mountain village known for its traditional bamboo homes and amazingly clean paved streets.
